CONCERTO and LEMONTREE are looking for two new researchers

The University of Reading is pleased to announce two exciting new research opportunities in the field of Land Surface Modelling, with positions available across the CONCERTO and LEMONTREE projects.

These roles offer a unique opportunity for talented researchers to contribute to cutting-edge developments in Earth and terrestrial ecosystem modelling, working within a dynamic, interdisciplinary team at the forefront of climate and environmental science.

The CONCERTO project is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join efforts to revolutionise our understanding of terrestrial ecosystem carbon uptake. This position will play a central role in advancing research on land surface processes, with a focus on the application of the novel p-model, which builds on recent breakthroughs in eco-evolutionary optimality theory.

The successful candidate will work closely with leading scientists across Europe, contributing to a broader mission to improve the modelling of carbon dynamics in land ecosystems.
